The 3rd round of Austrian National Championship took place at Kirchschlag. Race started on Saturday with the free practice. The XB8 feels good already from the start and as later the track had more a more grip I changed the diff and shock setup a bit higher. I won all practice rounds and first qualification on that day.
Sunday morning I won also second qualification but the last two runs go to Bauer Dominic. During those rounds I was test different bodies and also had an stone in the car which blockade the front wheel.
At the semifinal I was able to set the fastest time with one lap gap to Bauer who finished with the second fastest time

At the final Dominic were able to race same speed and same level so it was really funny to race with him and I was enjoying it but at 15 min. I had a flame out because I pushed too much and run out of fuel.
I lost 1:33 min at pit so the fight for the lead was over and I tried everything to take the second which secures me the overall Austrian National Champion title.
During the last 10 min. I was behind Nalukowy Michael. I was driving very aggressive and give all to grab the second place. Michael was pushing too much and did a mistake so I overtook him easy. But it was not over as I had to do one pit stop more. I did what was possible to have enough gap for my pitstop. The pitstop went well so I finished 2nd and I became Austrian Champion 2016.
